Irina Alferova, a famous Constancia, a muse of a Russian actor Alexander Abdulov, a mother of 4 children, 3 of which she adopted and one of the most beautiful Soviet actresses.

Alferova was born on Novosibirsk in 1951. She finished Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) and immediately got her arguably most famous role - the part of Dasha in the film "Khozhdenie Po Mukam" ("The Road to Calvary"). This role appeared the path into the cinema for Alferova. In 1976 Irina Alferova became an actress of "Lenkom" theatre where she met her future husband Alexander Abdulov.

Irina Alferova and Alexander Abdulov became most beautiful couple of the Soviet cinema and later of the whole Soviet Union. They were admired. Yet the fame had another side of the coin for Irina. For years she remained in shade of her genius and highly demanded husband and was spoken about only as a beautiful wife of a talented actor.

Yet the film "d'Artagnan and Three Musketeers" was rewarding for Alferova. The part of Constancia, won her people's love and made her famous all over the Soviet Union. The same year a drama "Do not part with the beloved" was released. Alferova played with her husband and managed to show real love and agony that shocked the Soviet public not used to psychological dramas. Alferova and Abdulov made most elegant actors duo.

Irina Alferova played in totally 40 films and was awarded a title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR in 1993 and People's Artist of Russia in 2007. She is now an actress in the "School of Modern Drama" theatre.
